As part of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, we’ve created an experiential space that retells the story of Frankfurt – more intense, more emotional, larger than life. Across 1,200 m² of projection, a virtual world unfolds that asks one central question:

How does a city become a metropolis?
The exhibition takes you on a journey through themes such as:
• Trade, banking, and financial history
• Urban life in transition 
• Migration & cultural exchange
• Literature, music & urban subcultures

No display boards. No “museum-speak.”
Instead: a multimedia production that makes history tangible –
